Any plans to make this a universal app? Ipad/Iphone

The one thing stopping me from signing up is the iphone format. I have a ipad 3 and 99% of the time I play anything at all my ipad is sitting in landscape mode. Is there some setting that will allow screen rotation? Or are there plans to make EotE universal sometime soon?
