hanging on Account Creation screen

For the last three days I have been trying to create an account on the account creation screen. I fill in all the forms and then click signup and then I just get the ios waiting icon forever.

I am running the game off a 4S on the latest firmware.

Could you try the following:

1 - Exit the app by closing the home button.
2 - Double tap the home button to see a list of running apps.
3 - Hold down the icons to make them wiggle
4 - Kill the running version of Empire
5 - Restart the app.

Does it still happen after that?

Yeah, I have done that dozens of times now. I have done everything short of a full reboot of the device.

Actually let me try that now...

Huh. I'll be damned. It worked :) As a former tech support analyst, I should have done that first, eh?
